社群網站「推特」（Twitter）替名人建立無疆界粉絲團拱人氣，好萊塢影星、歌手、政治人物趨之若鶩，蘋果日報報導，凱蒂佩芮（Katy Perry）日前以30萬名推特追隨者之差，擊敗追隨者達4705萬的小賈斯汀（Justin Bieber），登基「推特女王」。

報導稱，凱蒂佩芮、小賈斯汀、女神卡卡（Lady Gaga）等明星愛用推特，佩芮的追隨人數原本不及小賈與卡卡，但她不把推特當宣傳工具，而是透過分享生活點滴、搞笑影片，甚至聊她「決定不用iPhone」等生活瑣事，還曾以推特與男友約翰梅耶（John Mayer）傳情，讓粉絲更貼近她，人氣後來居上。
